THE STORY SO FAR...
Andrew started his vocal career in 1995, performing in several musical productions at the Lyceum Theatre, Crewe. After recording an entry for "Song for Europe" in early 1996, Andrew founded and performed in the Cabaret Trio "2plus1", which won "Cheshire Rising Stars" the same year. He also sang at many corporate events, including work for BMW, Austin Reed, and Manchester Airport plc. In January 1997, Andrew won the "Search for a Star" contest at 'Talk of the Coast' in Blackpool. This secured a Vocalist role on the MS Sapphire for Thomson Cruises (CMB Entertainment). This was followed by three further seasons, on the TSS Islandbreeze and MS Emerald, until Andrew's return to land in the Spring of 2000. Over this period, Andrew sang in more than 1000 nightly shows! During seasonal breaks, Andrew also starred as the Prince in "Red Riding Hood" at the Forum Theatre, Billingham, and worked alongside headline acts including Stu Francis, Keith Harris & Orville, Rustie Lee, and Norman Wisdom OBE... to name but a few! From May 2000 until October 2002, Andrew performed his solo show at hotels and resorts across the island of Ibiza (Laser Entertainment). Venues included Thomson Gold and Airtours Suncenter Resorts. He also starred in "Rock'n'Roll" at the Casino de Ibiza in November 2001, and designed, produced and performed in "A Night at the Casino" in February 2002. Both productions for the Theatre Trust of Ibiza. In Winter 2002, Andrew co-wrote and performed in "The Beat Goes On" and "Moulin Groove" (Mondial Entertainment), based in the Canary Islands. Andrew's final overseas season was during Summer 2003, when he was the Host, Compere and Headline Vocalist in "Imagination" at the Star Apoplous Theatre in Kos, Greece (Showstoppers Worldwide). Since 2003, solo performances have included Corporate Launches, Hotels, Holiday Centres, Golf Clubs, Weddings and Outdoor Festivals across the UK, including work for Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, Haven Holiday Parks, Showstoppers Worldwide, Alton Towers, The Caravan Club of Great Britain, Hoseasons, The Royal British Legion, British Holidays, De Vere Hotels and the Freemasons. He has recorded two solo CD's, and undertaken freelance recording work for Alton Towers and Satellite Studios. Andrew has also performed for the Belfry Hotel during two consecutive Christmas seasons (2003-4), in the shows "Land of Make Believe" and "Decades of Dance", both for Showstoppers Worldwide, and was the lead vocalist at the 'Pink Lagoon Ball' at the Crowne Plaza, Manchester, in 2004. Andrew wrote and co-starred in the cabaret duo "One Night Only" in Summer 2006, alongside vocalist Neil Senior. In July 2007, Andrew had the honour of performing at the Beatherder Festival, a large independant music festival, performing a special one-man tribute to Swing and Big Band. He returned in July 2008 for a second invited guest show, and will return to make it a trio in 2009! Andrew has also recently performed for BMW, Middlesbrough Football Club, Napoleon's Casinos, Vasco, Hoseasons, British Holidays and The Bay Resort. Andrew's work has been covered by, and featured in, media including BBC Television, Sky News, Hello! Magazine, The Manchester Evening News, Cheshire Life Magazine, The Stage Newspaper, and CNBC News.
